The longstanding discrepancy between theoretical calculations and experimental data in K +- 6 Li elastic scattering may be improved in the framework of Glauber theory, concerning the relatively loosely bound nuclear density distribution.

The total reaction cross sections of some halo nucleis on the stable nucleus have been calculated by using improved Glauber theory, which includes quantum correction, Coulomb correction and isospin effects of nucleon-nucleon collision under the assumption of the effective nuclear density distribution.
