生产方法：以氯乙酰吗啉与O，O-二甲基二硫代磷酸钠直接缩合而得。工艺条件：配料比为O，O-二甲基二硫代磷酸钠：氯乙酰吗啉=1.05-1.10（摩尔比）。将O，O-二甲基二硫代磷酸钠加入反应瓶，冰浴冷却，当料温下降至-8℃以下时，再加吗啉（30%以上），保持温度在-5℃以下。滴加氯乙酰氯，待pH值接近7时，迅即滴加液碱。氯乙酰氯滴完后，于-8℃搅拌反应1h。然后加苯，于50-60℃搅拌反应1h，降温；静置，分出苯层，减压蒸馏而得茂果。配制成25%乳剂或粉剂。
用途：茂果具有内吸性强、高效、低毒等特点，主要用于防治棉蚜、菜蚜、棉红蜘蛛，棉蓟马等多种害虫，其药效与乐果相近。
