四川大风顶国家级自然保护区
位于四川省马边彝族自治县境内，面积3万公顷，1978年经国务院批准建立，主要保护对象为大熊猫及森林生态系统。
本区地处凉山山系东麓，最高海拔4035米，相对高差3000米以上。区内河谷深切，两岸山峦对峙，气候属中亚热带季风湿润气候类型。复杂的地形条件和适宜的气候为生物资源提供了有利的保存和繁衍场所，植被类型多样，自然植被垂直分布十分明显，物种资源丰富，并且有很多古老物种在这里得到保存。本区的国家重点保护植物有珙桐、连香树、水青树、大王杜鹃等20多种，国家重点保护动物有大熊猫、羚牛、小熊猫等20多种。
