斧劈皴 山水画技法名。用笔如斧劈木片，一边厚一边薄。有大、小斧劈之分，后人因其形似故名。《绘事发微·皴法》：“李思训用点攒，簇而成铍，下笔首重尾轻，形似丁头，为小斧劈皴也……夏圭、马远一变其法，用侧笔皴，以至用卧笔带水搜，谓之水斧斫。”小斧劈用笔宜有波折顿挫，转折处无圭角，能圆浑。大斧劈用笔苍劲而方直下，须如截钉，方中带圆，形势雄壮、磅礴，墨气浑厚。善小斧劈者后有李唐、刘松年、吴镇等。工艺绘画中亦用此法。
