形态特征子囊盘小,呈小杯状，浅肉色至褐色，单个或几个从菌核上生出，直径0.5-1cm，柄褐色细长，弯曲，长3-5cm，向下渐细，与菌核相连。菌核形状多样，长3-15μm。子囊圆柱形，120-140μm×11μm，孢子通常8个，单行排列，椭圆形，8-14μm×4-8μm，侧丝细长,线形,无色,顶部较粗。

生态习性生于林地上。
分布地区吉林河南江苏四川广西广东江西福建台湾湖南湖北浙江甘肃陕西贵州新疆
经济用途记载可食用，不过一般个体小，食用价值不大。日本曾利用此菌发酵培养，制取的多糖，对小白鼠肉瘤180有抑制作用。另外，此菌危害十字花科、豆科、茄科、芸香科等植物。
