The semi-arid valley scrubs in the upper reaches(31°15′ 32°32′N,103°10′ 103°54′E)ofthe Minjiang River distribute discontinuosly along the river banks and Occupy a300 400m widebeIt on the slopes.

Using the methods Of 2 × 2 continsency table, variance analyses, X￣2-test, Ochiai indexes and the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients,the authors of this paper studied the interspecific association and covariation of 10 dominant special of the semi-arid valley scrubs in Maoxian on the upper reaches of the Minjiang River.
