In order to ensure sound development of quality education,universities and colleges(especially normal colleges) should strengthen their own school-based research and guide school-based research in primary and middle schools in this area.

Through the statistic analysis on Chinese researches of foreign language learning strategies from 1994 to 2007,the author finds that there still exist four major problems in the field,such as the similarity in research orientation,the incompletion of research samples,the singleness of research methods,and the unclear definition of core concepts.
