主要病理变化为，表皮层角化过度和角化不全，棘细胞层不规则增厚，上皮角向下延伸，末端钝圆或较尖，上皮脚愈长，尖端愈细。上皮脚间的真皮层乳头明显，有轻度水肿及淋巴细胞和少量浆细胞浸润。上皮细胞层排列整齐，细胞大小和核形态染色均正常。治疗：保持外阴清洁，避免用肥皂及药物擦洗。衣着宜宽大。局部用皮质激素软膏或霜剂涂擦以缓解症状。擦药物前可用温水坐浴。经治疗可以缓解症状。及改善病理，它定期复查病理。
