On the Age of the Xigeda Formation in Luding, Sichuan, and Its Neotectonic Significance;

Based on the researching on K151+180～650 m landslide along the Xi-Pan Expressway the paper described the geologic characteristic,analyzed the infection of the excavating,the structure and hydrogeology conditions of the slope,and summarized the slip mechanism on the landslide of the approximately level excavated slope in Xigeda Formation.

South section of the projected Ya′an-Panzhihua highway is characterized by the development of a series of similar landslides which are originated from interlayer slide between the Quaternary accumulation and the Tertiary Xigeda Formation.

In this paper, Xigeda group, which is lake sediment and is widely distributed in Panzhihua, is researched by the method of radioactive measurement, its profile is measured by the low-background multi-channelγenergy spectrometer, and the change rule of radioactive nuclide on its profile is analyzed in detail.
