artificial cardiac pacemaker
    发出脉冲电流以带动心脏起搏的机械装置。其主要结构是脉冲发生器及起搏导管。通常将起搏导管经头静脉或锁骨下静脉送达心房和/或心室,并与埋于胸大肌表面皮下的脉冲发生器相连,即可带动心房和/或心室跳动。起搏器在缓慢性心律失常病人,可替代心脏发放一定频率的电脉冲,维持合适范围的心率,也可通过发放比心动过速更快或提前发生的脉冲终止心动过速。起搏器种类繁多,分体外临时及体内永久性两种。体内永久性起搏器 的功能以代码表示(如AAIR、VVI、VVIR、DDD等),第一位代码表示起搏的心腔,第二位代表感知的心腔,第三位代表反应方式,第四位代表程序控制功能,第五位代表抗心动过速功能。中国常用类型为VVI、AAI及DDD3种。人工心脏起搏器的主要适应症包括:①病窦综合征;②Ⅱ度Ⅱ型以上的房室传导阻滞;③反复发作的颈动脉窦性昏厥和心室停搏;④异位快速心律失常药物治疗无效者。
