In this paper, several important physical properties parameters of polymers, such as specific volume Vp, solubility parameter δ, glass transition temperature Tg and molecular weight between interchain entanglements Mc, have been determined by structure unit contribution method using microcomputer.

The method is based on an idealized structural unit method.
