补充资料：叠溪地震遗址
叠溪地震遗址位于茂县较场乡东南2．5公里，岷江东岸二级台地上，背靠七珠山，下临岷江河，面积22万平方米。据文献记载，叠溪汉为蚕陵县，唐初为冀州，明为叠溪千户所，清改为卫，民国隶茂县。而叠溪城为“贞观时筑，明洪武十一年御使大夫丁玉讨复故地，命指挥童胜复筑。高一丈，围三百几十丈，门四。成化间重修。”叠溪城扼松茂要道之冲，即是军事重镇亦是商留集散地。 1937年8月25日，此地发生7．5级强烈地震，山崩地裂，台地下陷，古城沉没，城中军民三千余人全部遇难。地震后古城仅残存东门瓮城一角，南墙一段石狮、石辗、石碑、石缸各一。该遗址至今仍完好地保留着，已成为世界上唯一保存完好的地震毁灭的古城遗址．是国际地震界研究地震的重要现场。州级文物保护单位。
