唐朝设于西域的军政机构。公元640年，唐朝为加强对西域地区的控制，于高昌设立，后移至龟兹(今新疆库车)。管辖天山以南至葱岭以西、阿姆河流域的广大地区，还统辖安西四镇龟兹、于阗、疏勒、碎叶的重兵。790年，治所为吐蕃攻陷。
