A型组织(type^organization)美国日裔心理学家威廉·大内(wiUiamouchi)在((Z理论:美国企业界怎样迎接日本的挑战》一书中，把西方组织称为A型组织。他认为，A型组织是在高度的个人流动性、支持独立、自食其力和个人责任的文化规范中发展起来的企业组织，其最为重要的社会观念或精神支柱是自恃与独立。它是对异质、机动、个人主义等状况的一种自然适应。在这种组织中，人与人之间的关系比较淡薄，很少产生亲密感。威廉大内在把西方的A型组织同日本J型组织加以比较后，指出了两种组织在人力资源管理方面的基本差异。详见，’J型组织”。 (孙俊山撰张燮审)
