| 北京医科大学 中国培养医学专门人才的高等学校。设在北京。前身是1912年创建的北京医学专门学校。创办初期，只设医学专业。1914年2月成立了人体解剖室 。1915 年5月设立诊察所，开始有了门诊。同年8月附设产婆养成所 ，1916年设立了女病房和产室。1924年1月学校改名为北京医科大学校。1927 年改名为国立京师大学堂医科。1928年又改名为国立北平大学医学院。1937年抗日战争爆发后，学校一度停办，后复校，分在两地办学： 一为设在西安的西北联合大学医学院； 一为设在原址的北平大学医学院。1945年抗日战争胜利，两部分合并，改名为北京大学医学院。1950年独立建院，1952年取名为北京医学院。1985年更名为北京医科大学。学校设 7个学院，2个系 ，1个社会科学人文科学教学部 ，4个教学医院。还附设一所中等卫生学校。共有病床3075张。设本科专业12个，专科专业4个。有博士学位授权学科专业 51个。学校还设有17个研究所，11个研究中心 ，1个国家级重点实验室。 |
