唐代传奇小说集。撰者唐代裴铏。生卒年、籍贯、字号均不详。咸通中为静海军节度使高骈掌书记，或以为《传奇》即此时所作。乾符五年(878),为成都节度副使，加衔御史大夫。书中多为神怪和爱情相结合的故事，情节新奇,富于幻想色彩,如《裴航》、《薛昭》、《郑德璘》、《张无颇》、《昆仑奴》、《孙恪》、《文箫》等,都是流传很广的名篇,常被人引为典故，或编成话本、戏曲。文辞华丽，往往在散文中夹杂骈俪句，并穿插一些诗歌，代表晚唐小说的艺术风格。宋人曾把"用对语说时景"的文章称为"传奇体"。按元稹《莺莺传》曾题《传奇》，裴铏此集亦名《传奇》，后"传奇"一词遂由专名成为唐代文言小说的通称。
《新唐书·艺文志》著录此书3卷,已佚。《太平广记》和《类说》等书中存有佚文。有郑振铎辑本，收入《世界文库》。1980年上海古籍出版社印行周楞伽辑注本。
