Construting a column featured with local culture——On the distinctive column in “the Journal of Suzhou Vocational University”;

Based on the practice of publishing the Journal of Anshan Normal University,this paper introduces our efforts and experience in creating distinctive columns for journal of regional colleges,relying on our leading disciplines,to serve the regional economy construction,to exert the function of academic periodicals and,furthermore,to acquire faster development.

In view of the unidirectionality in the development of the university journals, this paper, based on practical cases, discusses the following aspects related to the development of the distinctive columns in university journals: its necessity, basis, and content and form.

Fostering a special column—Diagnosing Please—in medical imaging periodicals;

The author consider that open door policy means arrange special columns and abstract outside articles;and it is necessary through editor s plan with distinguish features and new ideas to make journals successful.

Therefore,we should open up the special studying domain,explore regions characteristics and connontations,pay more attention to its profession and applying,so as to construct special column,form its own specialities and set up a good image.
