抗战胜利后,北平市因遣返日侨的需要而成立了北平市日侨集中管理所,在西苑、西郊、城内等地设管理所三处,办理集中管理及遣送各项事务;策划拟订组织规程及办事细则,并督饬各所施行;保障日侨的安全,纠正其谬误思想,并在短时间内完成了遣侨任务。

台北日侨学校
台北日侨学校是一所位于中华民国台北市士林区天母的外侨学校，1947年成立，早期是“国立台湾大学附设留台日籍人员子女教育班”，在中华民国与日本断交前称为“在中华民国日本国大使馆附属台北日本人学校”。校址曾多次搬迁，于天母的现址是在1983年落成启用。学生主要是在台湾的日本侨民子女，师资由日本的文部科学省派遣，在台湾的台中市及高雄市也设有日侨学校。台北日侨学校校址的对面即为台北美国学校。
