In this paper, the author makes an in-depth research based on historical literatures in the following five aspects: (1) Long history of the garden city Guangzhou; (2) Origin and development of Cantonese flower-loving tradition;(3) Fang Village-the center of floriculture; (4 ) Origin of Ling-Nan potted landsca.
