| 流浪汉小说 La novela picaresca 16世纪在西班牙开始流行的多以流浪汉为主人公，以他们的生活为题材的小说。16世纪中叶，随着美洲殖民地的建立，西班牙商品经济空前繁荣，对外贸易十分兴旺，致使大批本国农民和手工业者破产，沦为无业游民。加之社会上冒险之风日盛，流浪汉遂成为一个庞大的社会阶层。流浪汉小说便在这样的历史条件下产生。1554年，《托梅斯河上的小拉撒路》（汉译《小癞子》)开了流浪汉小说的先河。小说以第一人称叙述托梅斯河上的小拉撒路，由于家庭不幸，不得不给一个瞎子引路，从此开始流浪生涯。为了生存，小拉撒路先后换过不少主人，历尽世态炎凉。此后陆续出版的流浪汉小说有M.阿莱曼的《古斯曼·德·阿尔发拉切》、乌维达的《流浪女胡斯蒂娜》、克维多的《骗子手》等。 |
