| 中国科学技术大学 中国理工科综合性大学。1958年9月20日在北京成立。由中国科学院领导。1969年12月迁到安徽省合肥市，1977年在北京成立研究生院。 1978年又创办了少年班，在全国招收15岁以下的优秀少年提前进大学学习。实行全院办校，所系结合的办校方针，设有数学、物理、近代化学、近代物理、近代力学、无线电电子学、地球和空间科学、生物、计算机科学技术、应用化学、工程热物理等17个系。本科学制为5年，研究生学制为2年或4年。设有数学研究所、国家电子同步辐射实验室、理论天体物理研究中心、结构分析中心、计算中心以及量子化学、核科学和核技术应用、科学史等若干研究室和中心实验室。十分重视基础课教学，科学院各研究所的科学家严济慈、华罗庚、钱学森等都曾亲自到校兼职、讲课。同时，学生也去各研究所参加科学研究工作。已形成教学和科研相结合的体制，建立了培养学士、硕士、博士的教学体系，成为中国科学院培养人才、出科研成果的一个重要基地。中国科学技术协会简称中国科协。由全国性学会、协会、研究会和地方科协组成。
