【J.希克斯流动性偏好利率结构论】关于流动性偏好作用利率结构的一种理论。把风险的回避因素导人预期利率结构理论的一种利率结构理论。最先提出该理论的是凯恩斯，其完善者是希克斯。希克斯认为，预期利率结构理论忽视风险因素的避免是不完善的。因为不同利率之间的互相关系部分地与风险因素的避免有关，部分地与未来利率的预期趋势有关。他说，在同一日期中，对不同的贷款所付的利率是不同的，其主要理由有二:(l)由于借款期限长短不同以及在借款期内清偿分配方法的不同。(2)由于借款人违约引起的风险不同。风险因素的避免，无论对借款人或是对贷款人都十分紧要。因为，人们不能只顾追求收人最大化，而把所有鸡蛋放在一个篮子里遭受风险，总是应将资金分别投资在各种不同期限的债券上，以便在谋求收人的过程中分散风险。由于长期债券(或贷款)的资本价值收入的变异数比短期债券高，长期债券就比短期债券的风险更大。“因此，如果贷款人能以较短期限的贷款代替长期限的贷款，则他们所受的风险常可望减少，虽然他们觉察到这种好处的程度因不同的时期而异。一般来说我们可以假定他们为了获得更大的安全，会愿意在利率上(或大或小)作某些牺牲”(希克斯《价值与资本》)。 希克斯提出了风险因素避免将影响利率结构的观点后，得到R.卜罗宾逊、J·H·伍德等不少西方学者的赞同。他们均认为流动性报酬是一种风险报酬。当投资者认为长期债券与短期债券二者不具有完全替代性时，利率的期限就不仅要受市场对未来利率的预期影响。因此，在流动性偏好利率结构理论中，长期利率等于现在短期利率和预期未来短期利率的几何平均数加与它们相关的流动性报酬(参见G.G考夫曼《货币、金融体系和经济》)，用公式表示为: l+民.:二((l+石.t)(1+石.t十，，+卜.t.，+1) ·’“”(L+rl一t·‘十，+1 1 tlt+。一l)〕”·在此，甄，t，t十n是未来相对各时期的流动性报酬。此公式与预期利率结构公式相比，只多了甄，t;，t+n项，此项的出现使流动性利率结构理论中的收益偏高，并使远期利率与预期利率的差距扩大，而这个扩大额随债券到期期限的延长而增长。按此理论，在存在风险的情况下，长期债券比短期债券的风险大，长期利率要比短期利率高。这是因为:(l)短期债券比长期债券的流动性大，而且对于利率变动，的预测较为可能，资产价值损失的风险较小。所以，流动性报酬低;(2)以短期资金转期借人筹措长期资金，除短期资金转期续借成本较大以外，还有存在转期续借被拒绝等风险，会使长期利率比短期利率高。
