（流派）喇嘛教育之年限甚长。管理极严。八岁入寺院之学校，检查体格，使暗记古人格言。如是十二年，称试验生。由保证人介绍，登姓名于僧录。给以银徽章，使附袈裟。削发行宣示式，始得法名。更进而为住职。又经十二年，课程渐次增高。学祈祷，习经，频以问答论难试验其修行之功效。若能解决问答论难各题，得列众僧之前。但实行研究者甚少。不过循例举行，视为具文耳。谚云：吃喇嘛之食，须具铁颚。其难苦可知也。
