The writer has surveyed 1 775 young students at nine primary or middle schools and colleges in six cities in Hunan Province and got the following findings: the rate of the young students suicidal tendencies and non-lethal suicidal behavior are rather high,reaching respectively 16.

Methods 29 patients with panic disorder (including 10 patients with suicide idea,19 patients without suicide idea) and 15 normal controllers were determined total cholesterol,triacylglycerol,high-density lipoprotein( HDL ) and low-density lipoprotein(LDL) in serum,the results were compared.

By using perfectionism scale,self-esteem scale,self-consistency and congruence scale,suicidal intention scale to investigate 800 undergraduates in seven universities in Henan Province,it is found that perfectionism,self-esteem,self consistency and congruence are the main factors of suicidal intention.
