| 有限与无限 definite and indefinite 物质世界固有的矛盾之一。反映物质运动在时间和空间上辩证性质的一对哲学范畴。物质是不灭的、无限的，并且处在永恒的绝对运动之中，物质及其运动的永恒性、无限性，也就是物质的存在形式即时间持续和空间广延的无限性。物质的时空无限由具体的物质客体的有限时空所构成，并通过具体物质客体在有限时空上的运动和变化表现出来。有限和无限的范畴，反映了物质世界中客观存在的矛盾和辩证联系。 有限范畴，反映着具体的事物、现象和客体在时间和空间上的暂时性、局部性和相对性。无限范畴，反映着客观实在的物质总体的永恒性、普遍性和绝对性。有限和无限是物质世界中存在的客观矛盾，是物质的运动在时间和空间上表现出来的辩证联系。因此，有限和无限的关系是辩证的，是对立的统一。具体表现在：①无限由有限构成、无限不能脱离有限而独立存在。②有限包含着无限 ，有限体现着无限。③有限和无限的辩证统一，表现在任何一个物质客体中。在一定意义上说，每一物质客体既是有限的又是无限的，是有限和无限的统一。 |
