【来源】
为大戟科植物续随子茎中的白色乳汁。植物形态详"千金子"条。
【化学成分】
茎含卅一烷、谷甾醇、三萜成分蒲公英赛醇和白桦脂醇。浆汁中含二羟基苯丙氨酸(DOPA)1.7%。
【药理作用】
见"千金子"条。
【功用主治】
①《开宝本草》："去皯蹭。" ②《本草蒙筌》："敷白癜、面皯。"
【临床应用】
治疗蛇咬伤 伤口先作十字切开，将续随子鲜草折断流出的白汁滴于切口上，每5～10分钟1次；另取鲜草捣烂外敷伤口周围。治疗366例，伤口均愈合。
