After analyzing the present situation of the mass sports in rural China the author held that the social traditional factors of "the dualistic structure,economic condition,lifestyle" lead to inadequacy of carrying out the mass.
体育在推进农村社会移风易俗、引导农民形成健康、科学、文明的生活方式及良好的身体素质方面,有着难以替代的价值,因而农村经济的发展和社会进步亦要求相应发展的农村体育,在深入分析了农村体育的开展情况后得出:农村群众体育开展乏力,是由“我国社会的二元社会结构、经济状况、农民生活方式”等若干社会因素所致。
