为豆科植物蝙蝠草的全草。
【植物形态】
蝙蝠草 直立草本。茎纤细，高50～90厘米，上部有细绒毛。叶互生，通常为3小叶，有时仅1小叶；小叶半月形、菱形或蝶形，长1～1.5厘米，宽6～10厘米，先端阔凹状，墓部宽楔形，侧脉3～4条，中肋在顶端延伸成小刺尖；两侧小叶较小，斜倒三角形，先端截形，有小刺尖。总状花序顶生或腋生，长9～18厘米，有时组成圆锥花序；花梗有短柔毛，较萼短；萼阔钟状，花后膨大，萼齿5枚，卵状披针形；花冠蝶形，不伸出萼外，旗瓣宽阔，龙骨瓣钝；雄蕊10，2体；雌蕊1，子房细圆柱形，花柱丝状，柱头头状。荚果4～5节，折叠藏于宿存的萼筒内，每节有种子1颗。花期9～10月。果期10～11月。 生于山坡草地或灌木丛中。分布广西、广东等地。

夏、秋季采，晒干或鲜用。

①《南宁市药物志》："甘微辛，平，无毒。" ②《广西中药志》："辛，凉。"
【功用主治】
①《南宁市药物志》："舒筋活络，调经去瘀。浸酒服能强壮筋骨；煎水服治倒经。叶：外敷治跌打，接骨。" ②《广西中药志》："活血祛风，散瘀消肿，止痛，解蛇毒。治跌打，风湿骨痛，蛇毒，痈疮。"
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，1～3钱；或浸酒。外用：捣敷。
