性质:又称反射式阶梯光栅(reflection stepped grating)。其性质介于小阶梯光栅和阶梯光栅之间。它与闪耀光栅不同,不以增加光栅刻线,而以增大闪耀角(高光谱级次和加大光栅刻划面积)来获得高分辨本领和高色散率。例如当8~80条/mm刻线,60°~70°闪耀角,40~200级高光谱级次时,分辨本领大于106。普通闪耀光栅为105。但它每一级光谱区很窄,只有1~10nm。可用交叉色散法将这些上百级次的光谱分开。
