In today s highly developed information technology,this paper deals with the features and resource security of the information from library journals,and puts forth the major strategies to explore the journal information resources in the network environment,including contents report,selective dissemination of information and literature transmission services.

This paper expounds the connotation and necessity of the literature transmission,introduces the present situation of university library s literature transmission,analyzes on the reasons why the progress of the literature transmission is slow,and puts forward some corresponding suggestions.

Using computer network,full text information retrieving sy stem ,full text database system and e lectronic literature transmission system,the electroni c literature transmission service r ealizes the sharing of literature re sources.
