| 龙舞 中国汉族民间舞蹈。因舞蹈者持传说中的龙形道具而得名。龙的形象源于中国古代图腾，被视为民族的象征。传说中龙能行云布雨，消灾降福。据汉代学者董仲舒的《春秋繁露》记载，当时已经有了形式比较完整的龙舞：在祈雨雪的祭祀活动中，春季舞青龙，夏季舞赤龙或黄龙，秋季舞白龙，冬季舞墨龙；每次舞5～9条龙，龙可长达数丈。经过2000多年的创造发展，中国民间龙舞已具相当高的技巧（包括扎制艺术），表演形式也丰富多彩。流传较为广泛的有：①龙灯。又称火龙、金龙。用竹篾和绸布扎成龙头、龙身（3～10节）和龙尾，彩绘龙鳞，每节龙身中都装有烛灯。起舞时，一人手持彩灯（象征宝珠）在前领舞，其他多人持龙头、龙身和龙尾下的木柄随舞，表演“二龙戏珠”、“金龙蟠玉柱”等。龙灯多在节庆之夜舞弄，以锣鼓、唢呐伴奏，同时施放烟花爆竹，蔚为壮观热闹。②草龙。南方农民在夏历五、六月间，用柳条、青藤、稻草等扎成龙形。龙身上插满香火，傍晚以后在田间场院舞弄，看起来星火点点、香烟缭绕。过去多在闹虫灾或干旱时的祭祀活动中舞弄，有驱虫、祈雨之意。此外还有些龙身不相连结的龙舞，如流行于浙江一带的百叶龙，是由几十盏甚至上百盏荷花灯、荷叶灯、蝴蝶灯穿插串连而成，大荷花灯作龙头，蝴蝶灯当龙尾，来回穿梭游走。而江苏流行一种段龙，龙头、龙身和龙尾都由红绸扎成，轻盈优美，多由妇女舞弄，鱼贯走出许多队形，犹如一条彩虹在空中蜿蜒。龙舞是中国传统节日中流行最广的民间舞蹈，世界上华人聚居区也以龙舞来表现社区传统文化。
