审尧理解(aestheti。understandsng)在审美感知的基础上探求审美对象内部联系的理性认识活动。它是对审美内容的本质性的把握。它以“非实用功利”态度和必要的知识准备为前提，以感知、想像、情感等因素为基础。它与理论的一认识之不同在于，它以想像为枢纽，具有某种领悟性，比确定的概念认识要丰富、广阔、深蕴。它分为三个层次:一为条件性理解，皿为表层理解，三为内层理解。条件性理解为表层和内层理解提供条件，本身并不在审美理解中占据一个阶段，它融化于整个审美理解之中，它又可分为前提性理解和背景性理解。 (黄冬梅撰张备玲审)
