Since its launch a year ago, the QDII(Qualified Domestic Institutional Investors) system has witnessed progress as well as challenges including the narrow investment range and the unpopularity of QDII products in the market.
我国合格境内机构投资者(QDII)制度实施一年来,取得了一定的成效,但也暴露出一些问题,主要是投资范围较窄,QDII产品发行销售不理想。

从广义上讲是指用自有资金或者从分散的公众手中筹集的资金专门进行有价证券投资活动的法人机构。在西方国家，以有价证券收益为其主要收入来源的证券公司、投资公司、保险公司、各种福利基金、养老基金及金融财团等，一般称为机构投资者。其中最典型的机构者是专门从事有价证券投资的共同基金。在中国，机构投资者目前主要是具有证券自营业务资格的证券自营机构，符合国家有关政策法规的各类投资基金等。
