和顺乡是著名的侨乡，又是景点众多的游览胜地，位于云南腾冲县西南4公里处。
这里归侨和侨眷占全乡人口的80％，著名的景点有毛泽东的哲学顾问艾思奇的故居：有全国最大的农村图书馆，藏书６万余册，其中有不少的珍本、善本；有闻名海外的益群中学，它始建于1940年，曾为侨乡培养出不少人才，现有在校学生1000余人，还有建筑精巧的元古龙寺。
此外，这里风光秀丽，其田园村寨风景如画。
