The local gazeteer of Huizhou in Qing Daoguang was edited by adding, omitting or correcting on some former local gazeteers, so it was more complete and reliable than before and had been being a very important primary primitive document.

The local chronicles of Suzhou published in the Guangxu years of Qing Dynasty strongly indicate the relation,and show the links between region and literature,urbanized society and urbanized culture in the perspectives of commercial industry,silkworm breeding and mulberry growing industry,Buddhism and Taoism,and public morals.
