明代纳西族作家。字恕卿，号雪山。其先祖雪授中顺大夫、丽江知府（土司），嘉靖六年(1527)，木公袭职。时人称赞其为将"有勇知方"，为文"机敏性察"（《六公传》）。入仕前居玉龙雪山南侧"五亩园"苦吟，袭职后仍不废创作。著有《雪山始音》、《隐园春兴》、《庚子稿》、《万松吟卷》、《玉湖游录》、《仙楼琼华》 6部诗集，1000余首，分别收入《列朝诗选》、《古今图书集成》、《四库全书》和《云南丛书》。木公早期诗作多写自然景物，寄情山水。后期诗则写风俗人情，多直抒胸臆。
木公与谪居云南的杨慎（升庵）为诗友。杨慎为其《仙楼琼华》、《木氏宦谱》作序,又从其6部诗集中选出114首,辑为《雪山诗选》，并撰长序。还称"其所为诗，缘情绮靡，怡怅切情，多摹拟垂拱之杰，先天之英，其秀句佳联，坌出层叠"(《云南丛书·丽郡诗文征》)。
木公与永昌(今保山)张志淳、张愈光及大理李中溪亦为诗文交。张志淳序其《雪山始音》，称其诗"有似杜者"。张愈光序其《隐园春兴》和《庚子稿》，称其诗"朗润清越，间发奇句"。李中溪则称道木公诗"得诗人句法，乐府音节。"
