擦迹类属作用(obliterative subsumption)D .P.奥苏贝尔术语。指类属学习在保持阶段新旧意义的相互作用过程。干扰遗忘理论认为相似的新旧知识相互干扰导致遗忘。这种遗忘是知识的纯粹损失。在类属学习(也称下位学习)中，新学习的下位观念(如苹果、香蕉)被纳入认知结构中的原有上位观念(水果)中，就获得了意义。在保持阶段，这样的新旧观念将继续相互作用(擦迹类属作用)，其结果是原有稳定的上位观念易擦去新的不稳定的下位观念的痕迹，从而导致新观念的遗忘，原有上位观念进一步稳定加深或扩充。这种遗忘不是知识的纯粹损失，它有助于认识结构的简化和建构。 (蒋兆灿撰牟丈博审)
