福州雪峰禅师。名义存。泉州南安曾氏子。年十二从莆田玉涧寺庆玄律师出家。年十七落发。往幽州宝刹寺受戒。久历禅会。三登投子。九到洞山。后仍缘契德山。唐懿宗咸通中回闽雪峰创院。徒侣翕然。僖宗赐号真觉禅师。仍赐紫衣。师之法席常有千五百众。至是开平二年三月示疾。闽帅命医来。师曰吾非疾也。遗偈付法讫。五月二日出游蓝田暮归。澡浴中夜入寂。寿八十七。师嗣德山鉴。鉴嗣龙潭信
