| 巨石建筑 megalith architecture 新石器时代至早期铁器时代特有的建筑类型。多为用巨大石块作成的墓冢或宗教崇拜物。大多分布在沿海地带，包括欧洲、北非的地中海沿岸，法国西部及北部，英国、爱尔兰、丹麦、瑞典及德国北部。东亚和南亚沿海等。 巨石建筑一般可分为3类：① 立石或列石。以单独或成列竖立的石块、石条作宗教崇拜之用，法国的列石有多达数千块的。②石棚。以数石直立上盖一石板构成，多为酋长坟墓，在中国的辽东半岛即可见到。③环状列石。以众多巨石构成环状建筑群，用作宗教祭台，亦可供天文观测，英国的斯通亨奇是其代表。巨石建筑的出现反映了原始社会末期的宗教信仰及工程技术水平，它们是古代不同民族各自分别独立创造的。 |
