On the basis on humanistic learning theories, constructive views of education, cognitive psychology, the present study aims to examine the beliefs about learner autonomy of some Chinese senior middle school students.

The author analyzes the connotation and the characteristics of the learning type society, states the meaning of the learning type society and puts forward the detailed measures to construct the learning type society from the view of learning idea,talents training system,education system of whole-nation learning and social learning network.

In the face of the reality that the quantity of knowledge grows at top speed of era knowledge-driven economy, education wants the study ideas of training students to be self, alternative crcativity, practicality and efficiency.
