On the basis of the fieldwork inthe ethnic villages of China by Yunnan University, this paper describes the distinguishing stagesof the economic transition of Chinese ethnic villages and gives a preliminary analysis for its structure and dynamicalcharacteristics.

The ways of community participate in tourism development of national villages are varied and rich,while whole community people can participate.

Community participation in tourism development of national villages help to residents economy benefit, community evolution, economy improvement of national area, tourism sustainable development .

Through further analysis of this theory,takeing the original ethical villages for an example,this paper points out making these villages onstage is a possible method to develop them,however,keeping the cultural resources of those villages reality in tourist .
