钱钟书将中国翻译工作者协会的刊物题名为《中国翻译》,根据冯友兰的哲学思想推断,《中国翻译》即《中国翻译学》,《中国翻译学》是中国的翻译学,具有浓厚的民族特性。

中国电影家协会电影史研究部编纂，中国电影出版社1982～1986年出版，共7集。收入对中国电影事业的发展做出过贡献的电影事业家、艺术家、理论家、工程技术专家共485人。该书对他们的生活经历、成长道路、艺术风格、成功经验、失败教训等方面进行了概括的介绍和分析评价，具有科学性、学术性和知识性。这7集所收人物截止到60年代，并限于大陆地区。对台湾、香港地区的有成就的电影界代表人物和70年代后涌现的电影家，以后将陆续编辑成卷出版。
