【国民生产总值价格平均指数】又称“国民生产总值折算价格指数”。按当年价格计算的国民生产总值对按固定价格或不变价格计算的国民生产总值的比率。其统计范围包括一切产品和劳务，也包括进出口商品，能反映社会总物价水平的变动趋势，被不少经济学家认为是最适合子衡量通货膨胀的指标。但是，编制这一平减指数需要收集大量资料，一般只能一年公布一次，有些统计系统不发达的国家甚至编不出这一指数。 国民生产总值价格平减指数的计算公式为: 国民生产总值 价格平减指数-按报告期价格计算的报告期产值xl(X)%以国民生产总值价格平减指数减1后所得数字即是报告期与基期相比的物价上涨率或者说通货膨胀率。例如，某国1987年的国民生产总值按当年价格计算为935亿元，而按基期1976年的价格计算为500亿元，则1987年的平减指数是:935二八。~，。，~亏丽xl田物=‘6‘物即物价上涨了87%
