Taskbased language teaching (TBLT) attaches great importance to the functional use of language, thereby improving students communicative competence.

When using it, teachers should understand and assess learners’ prior knowledge and skills, design and choose carefully the tasks that match well with learners’ capability, control and adjust the pace and time needed in doing the tasks, and participate the whole tasks and provide help when desired so that they can make the best use of TBLT.
