情结(complex)亦译“情综”、“意丛”，精神分析术语。指被压抑而持续在潜意识的心理矛盾症结，亦即人的潜抑的一组相互关联的感觉和观念以及不自觉产生的复杂情绪体验。其主要特点:(1)发端于早年同父母的人际关系的经历中，对个体有独特的意义。(2)被压抑的富有磁性的思想、经历、反应方式、记忆材料所组成，属于潜意识(个人潜意识与集体潜意识)现象。精神分析情结有几十种，有核心情结和一般情结。弗洛伊德提出的情结最多，如恋母情结、恋父情结、恋女情结、恋子情结、纯爱情结(或称安替哥尼情结)、阉割情结、姐弟情结(或称凯恩情结)、变男情结(或称戴安娜情结)等等;荣格(J ung，c.)提出的情结有自我情结、自主情结、创造情结、权力情结等等;阿德勒(A dler，A.)提出的有优越情结、自卑情结等;克莱因(Klein，M.)提出的有女性化情结、男性化情结等。深受弗洛伊德影响的美国人格心理学家默里(M盯ray，H.A.)还提出几种与性感区有关的婴儿情结，如遁世情结(源生于出生创伤)、尿道情结(显现于尿道与裸露癖)。弗洛伊德对情结的有用性曾表示过怀疑，因情宗有病理的含义。除了像恋母情结、恋父情结、阉割情结等应用较广外，其他许多情结已逐渐被精神分析学家所抛弃。 (牟丈博撰王启康审)
