      由单片钢板或多片钢板叠合构成的弹簧。板弹簧由于板与板之间有摩擦力而具有较大的缓冲和减振能力,广泛用于汽车、拖拉机和铁道车辆的悬架中(见图)。常用的板弹簧有半椭圆形、椭圆形和四分之一椭圆形等。半椭圆形板弹簧多用于汽车和铁道车辆。四分之一椭圆形板弹簧多用于其他机械设备。板片较少的板弹簧主要用于客车。用薄片钢板或其他金属板制成的板弹簧又称片弹簧,常用于仪器仪表中起压紧作用。
