燕州城位于灯塔市西大窑镇城门口村东石城山上，为高句丽于公元五世纪初建立的军事山城。山城作不规则方形，用石块建筑，分外城内城。外城东、西、北面城墙顺山势起伏砌筑，并砌有马面及护城短墙。南面利用悬崖作墙，崖下是太子河外城，周长2500米。内城筑于外城东南角，长45米，宽35米，城内有蓄水池。山顶有了望台，俗称"点将台"，是明代建筑，为全城高最点，现城内仍存有"石城风安保国寺"碑首一截，该城现为省级文物保护单位。
