This paper analizes the characteristics of granite eluvial soil of granite area in Guangdong and discusses the adaptability of heavy dynamic sounding test in granite area,thus obtaining the regression equation of heavy dynamic sounding test and standard penetration test.

The research is focused on the granite eluvial soil, but nine parameters such as water content, bulk density, void ratio, plastic index, liquidity index, compressibility coefficient, adhesion, angle of internal friction, number of blows for standard penetration test are analyzed based on probability statistic.
