Objective To investigate the importance of the palpebral margin reconstruction during the palpebral plastic surgery and how to operate it.

Results: New techniques and materials of eyelid reconstruction have emerged , and research level of the role of new materials has achieved to molecular level , but clinical results were not quite ideal and satisfactory.

Aim To observe the effect of eyelid reconstruction in treatment of bl epharocoloboma and cicatricial lid retraction.

Reconstruction of eyelid with a prefabricated compound flap;

Nursing of eyelid reconstruction using self-plantar dermis replacing tarsus;

·METHODS:Thirty-five cases underwent different manage-ment,including blepharoplasty and eyelid reconstruction according to eyelid defect simultaneoasly after eyelid malignant tumor excision by Mohs surgery.
