路环岛南部的黑沙海湾，沙滩宽约1公里，沙细而匀，呈黑色，故有黑沙海滩之名，是澳门最著名的天然海湾浴场。岸边种植了一大片木麻黄树，成为岸边常绿林带，与黑沙海滩相映成趣，最宜郊游、划艇、游泳。
黑沙海湾因其沙滩上闪光黝黑的沙粒而闻名于世，事实上，海滩上的黑沙是受黑色的“海绿石”侵袭而形成的，海绿石受海流和风浪的影响，被推移到海滩，这样，白沙就变成黑的了。近年黑沙岸边新建了五星级酒店及高尔夫球场等旅游新设施，使“黑沙踏浪”锦上添花。
